Joviland is an independent, plain-English guide for people moving to, within or away from Citrus County on Florida's Nature Coast. We explain how buying and selling a home usually works, suggest questions to ask the professionals you hire, introduce local communities from public facts, and point you to the springs, trails, museums and shows that make the area worth living in.
What Joviland is not
We want to be clear about this from the start:
- We are not a realtor, brokerage, lender or MLS.
- We do not list, value, show or sell homes.
- We are not affiliated with any agent, brokerage or company.
- We do not give legal, tax or financial advice.
When a topic touches on contracts, taxes, insurance or lending, we explain the general idea and suggest you ask a licensed professional about your own situation.
Who it is for
- First-time buyers who want to understand the steps before talking to anyone.
- Homeowners getting ready to sell, downsize or relocate.
- Newcomers who want a feel for Citrus County before choosing where to live.
- Residents looking for a good day out, from the springs to the theater.
How we write
Our guides are written to be useful, not to sell. We stick to general processes that apply broadly, and our local facts come from public sources such as government agencies, state park pages and county records. We do not publish listings, prices, interest rates, commission figures, market statistics, testimonials or guarantees, because those change quickly or cannot be verified for every reader.
We would rather tell you which question to ask than pretend to know the answer for your particular home. That is why many of our pages end with checklists, such as Questions to Ask Any Agent.
Corrections policy
If something on Joviland is wrong, out of date or unclear, we want to fix it. Send the page address and what you think needs changing to our contact page or by email to info@joviland.com. We review every correction, update the page when a fact is confirmed and do not quietly alter facts without checking them first.
